Serdar Çelik
Mr. Serdar Çelik is Head of the Capital Markets and Financial Institutions Division at the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). His main responsibilities include capital markets, corporate governance, financial education, financial consumer protection, insurance, pensions and state-owned enterprises. He leads the secretariat to the OECD’s Committee on Financial Markets, Corporate Governance Committee and Insurance and Private Pensions Committee. He was responsible for the 2023 review of the G20/OECD Principles of Corporate Governance, led the OECD capital market reviews of Italy and Portugal and is overseeing the ongoing reviews of Spain and Sweden. He has written extensively on corporate governance, institutional investors and capital markets. Prior to joining the OECD, he worked at the Capital Markets Board of Turkey and was responsible for reviewing corporate financial reports and overseeing IPOs, mergers and acquisitions.
