This is the first of our new, member-only, ICGN Interviews series.
The revised G20/OECD Principles of Corporate Governance were endorsed at the G20 Summit on 9-10 September 2023. Revisions were made in the light of recent evolutions both in capital markets and corporate governance practices, to ensure the Principles’ continued standing as the leading international standard for corporate governance. The revised Principles includes a new chapter on “sustainability and resilience” and reflect recent evolutions in areas such as corporate ownership and concentration, the growing role of institutional investors and stewardship, the risks corporations face, and the impact of digitalisation.
We will hear directly from the OECD about the changes to this key international standard and their implementation by regulators and companies worldwide.
